Cherokee County Scout Embarking On An Eagle Project At Cherokee Rock Village

A Cherokee County boy very passionate about his community from doing clean ups at parks, to campaigning a clean up his self with Waste Wednesday while being a Type1 Diabetic and not letting that stand in his way of helping his community has taken on a new project at Cherokee Rock Village Park.

Levi Crabtree and his crew of volunteers have put in a lot of hard work getting his Eagle Project up and going.  From starting as a Bear Cub in Cub Scouts to finishing Arrow of Light and crossing over into Boy Scouts, Levi has his eyes set on Eagle.

This journey has provided lots of lessons learned and friends made. In July of 2020 he discovered mountain biking and fell and it was no surprise when he told his parents he wanted to build a trail for his Eagle project him and his friends could enjoy for a lifetime.

Levi has invited everyone to come out this Saturday April 2nd 8-12 at Cherokee Rock Village and help finish this trail.

There will be water and lunch provided and everyone is invited to bring your bike and helmet for a ride through the portion of the loop that is finished immediately following lunch.
