One person was injured in a single-vehicle accident taking place in Cherokee County on Monday afternoon. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency the wreck occurred on County Road 19 at around 3:45pm and involved a 2010 Nissan driven by a male resident of Piedmont.
No additional information regarding the extent of his injuries was made available.
The cause of that accident remains under investigations by troopers.
