Kenric Russell, age 47 of Piedmont – Alias Writ of Arrest;

Raday Edwards, age 24 of Attalla – Failure to Appear;

Robert McGill, age 31 of Piedmont – Bondsman off Bond and Failure to Appear;

Adam Jackson, age 26 of Fyffe – Court Order;

and

Jimmie Shepard, age 38 of Centre – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Tampering with Evidence, Attempting to Elude and Failure to Appear on prior charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No DL and Operating a Vehicle without Insurance.

Arrests are based  on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

Currently there are 93 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
