VALLEY HEAD – Reece Patterson tossed a no-hitter through four innings at Valley Head on Tuesday. She allowed just one walk and struck out 10 in the Lady Tigers’ 22-0 blowout victory.

Patterson also helped herself at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two walks, two runs and four RBIs. Mattie Payne was a perfect 4-for-4 with a triple, a double, a walk, three runs and four RBIs. Jordyn Walker went 3-for-3 with a double, two walks, four runs and three RBIs.

Za’Niya Kyle and Emma Haney both doubled. Kyle also walked, scored twice and drove in three runs. Haney walked three times, scored three runs and had three RBIs. Harlie Nelson contributed a hit, a walk, four runs and a RBI. Natalie Baty collected a hit, two walks, two runs and a RBI. Caitlin Slayton finished with a hit, a walk, a run and a RBI. Haley Allen walked and scored a run.

Cedar Bluff is scheduled to travel to West End on Thursday.
