44-year-old David Elijah Trimble of Gadsden faces 30 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of dissemination of obscene material according to a release from the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s office, along with the Rainbow City Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on March 17, 2022. During the search, investigators located an electronic device containing images of children, which was taken in for evidence.
Trimble was taken into custody and is being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $630,000 bond.
The investigation continues, and investigators say more charges may be filed.
