Arrest made after deadly Marshall County stabbing

(WAFF) – Marshall County investigators continue to investigate the scene of a fatal stabbing near Scottsboro Monday night.

According to Steve Guthrie with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 9 p.m. on March 21 in the area of Olinger Road and Swearengin Road.

When deputies arrived on the domestic call, a white male, identified as Taylor Hamilton Olson, 30, was found dead as a result of the stabbing. Emergency services were called to the scene but the subject was pronounced dead on the scene.

Guthrie said Andrew Landers was taken into custody and charged with murder. He is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail with no bond.

The Marshall County Coroner’s Office is assisting in the investigation along with the State Department of Forensic Science.
