A 24 year old is currently being held in the Etowah County Jail with bond set at a half-million dollars, following a fatal Friday night shooting. According to Sgt Marcus Hill with the Gadsden Police Department at around 11:30pm officers responded to the 2800 block of Cambron Street, to discover Juan Jaramillo in the driveway suffering a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
John Wesley Davidson was placed under arrest at the scene, and he was charged with murder in connection with the case. No motive has yet been released and the matter remains under investigation.
