An inmate at the Cherokee County Detention Center was pronounced dead on Saturday following an attempted suicide at the jail.
Cherokee County Chief Deputy Josh Summerford said that the inmate was rushed from the detention center to Floyd/Cherokee Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. gaminator online
