The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has confirmed that the body discovered in Polk County on Esom Hill Road, was that of Lachancey Williams, age 40 of Cedartown,
William’s body was found inside a toolbox by members of the Public Works department at 9:40am Tuesday, March 15th. The area where the body was found is the portion of the roadway between Highway 100 North and Prior Station Road, west of Cedartown. The GBI reports that the death remains under investigation and haven’t released any additional information.
