A Cedar Bluff teen has been indicted by a Cherokee County Grand Jury in connection to a car crash in February of 2021 that left one person dead and four others injured.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, 18 year old Christopher Goss was booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center on Tuesday on a Grand Jury Indictment for Reckless Manslaughter in addition to three indictments for Assault 2nd Degree.
The crash occurred on County Road 91 in Gaylesville on February 14th of 2021 – 17 year old Kaleb Self from Cedar Bluff was killed when the 2007 Nissan Maxima he was a passenger in, veered off County Road 91 and crashed into several trees.
That wreck, which took place at the intersection of County Road 635 around 10:00pm, left four others injured; one person had to be extricated from the vehicle and two others were ejected.
Goss is being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
