CENTRE – Abby Lea belted three doubles, scored three runs and had three RBIs in helping the Cherokee County Lady Warriors earn a 10-2 Class 4A, Area 9 softball victory over visiting Jacksonville on Monday.

Emma Hill also had three hits for the Lady Warriors (3-7), including a double, with a walk and two RBIs. She also earned the win in the circle after giving up two earned runs on five hits with a walk and eight strikeouts.

Audrey Haygood also collected three hits and scored two runs. Lanie Williams homered, walked twice, scored a run and drove in three more. Anna Walker and Raechel Russell both contributed a hit. Walker drove in two and Russell scored a run. Carson Coley and Auburn Mullins scored a run apiece.

Cherokee County is scheduled to host White Plains on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
