It’s a project that has been in the works for several months. Now it will become a reality.

On August 6th, 2022 Cherokee County will play host to the 1st Annual Weiss Lake Music Festival. The event will feature some big name acts and will be held at the Estes Field in Centre.

Event organizer and local DJ Dee Miller said that the group has already raised in excess of $75,000 in donations from local businesses, municipalities, corporate sponsors and private donations.

As contract negotiations continue, the acts for this year’s event have not been named but Miller said an official announcement will come soon.

This event will be absolutely free to the public and will feature live entertainment, food trucks and vendors and much more.
