An Etowah County man was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash occurring at around 4:25pm Sunday (March 13), some two miles north of Oneonta, in Blount County.
Fabian Sanchez, age 28 of Altoona was killed when the 1996 Chevy C1500 that he was driving collided head-on with a 2005 Ford F-150 driven by another Altoona resident, – 47 year old Shawn Nation. Troopers said Sanchez was not using a seat belt. There’s been no information released regarding the condition of Nation.
That wreck, which took place on Alabama Highway 75 near mile marker 34, remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
