The family of the man who was fatally injured in an accident on Highway 27 near the Walmart in Trion (Georgia) last week, has set up a “Go Fund Me” account to help with funeral expenses.

Funeral services are set for today (Tuesday, March 8th), for 47 year old Roger “Chris” Bingham who was struck by an on-coming Ford Expedition during the early morning hours; another person was also injured in the incident but was treated on the scene. Bingham was later pronounced dead at a Rome area hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted by Coffman Funeral Home at 12:00 noon, with the family receiving friends prior to the service. Burial will be at Moseley Cemetery.
