GADSDEN STATE HOSTS DUAL ENROLLMENT INFORMATION SESSIONS FOR PARENTS

GADSDEN, ALA. – Gadsden State Community College is hosting parent information sessions for ACE Institute, the college’s dual enrollment program, Feb. 17 at Gadsden State Cherokee; Feb. 22 at the Cheaha Center Lecture Hall on the Ayers Campus; and a final session Feb. 24 in the Science Building on the East Broad Campus. The time for all three sessions is 5 p.m.

Information provided at each session will include eligibility requirements, steps to enroll, benefits of dual enrollment to students–earning college credit while in high school and access to college resources.

ACE Institute dual enrollment opportunities provide high-achieving high school students with rigorous courses beyond those offered at the secondary level to enhance college access. An additional benefit is the scholarships that are available for eligible classes that include books and tuition.

The dual enrollment deadline for the Fall 2022 semester is May 1. For questions or more information contact dualenrollment@gadsdenstate.edu    or 256-549-8305.
