Units from several local fire departments are currently on the scene of what began as a report of a hay field being on fire at 1906 County Road 1. 

The call first went out at around 11:00am and then quickly escalated to a situation in which a tractor, a trailer and a truck were ablaze – shortly thereafter, it was reported that several pieces of farm equipment – and a number of large, round hay bales were now on fire as well with the fire becoming dangerously close to a wooded area beside   the hay field.

The farm is located in a remote area off of Highway 68, onto 36, and then onto County Road 1.
