Calhoun County EMA Says Plane That Was Seen Going Into The Water In Ohatchee Was A ‘Water Plane’

What initially called in as a plane in the water near Mohawk Cliff Drive on Tuesday afternoon was actually a small water plane making a routine landing in the lake in that area.

Calhoun County EMA Director Myles Chamblee told WEIS Radio News that there was no emergency landing or crash.

The initial call to 911 stated that the caller saw a plane go into the water.
