Carlton Thomas Bishop, age 87 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Friday, February 4th, 2022.
A funeral service will be held 11AM Wednesday, February 9th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Smith and Bro. James Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11AM, Weds at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Mike Wilkins, Jace Abernathy, Corey Abernathy, Lawrence Wilkins, Randy Wilkins, and Jessie Harrell.
Survivors include step daughter, Debra (Michael) Wilkins; sister, Doris Jean Bonner; grandchildren, Erica (TJ) Hill and Amber (Corey) Abernathy; great grandchildren, Jace Abernathy, Carlee Abernathy, Phoenix Hill.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Pearl Bishop; brother, Gerald Bishop; sister, Geraldine Bishop.
Mr. Bishop was the son of the late Thomas Madison Bishop and Ollie Harrell Bishop. He worked as a textile worker for Pharr Yarn and was a member of Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
The family will accept flowers or donations made to Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
