Floyd County Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle taken from the home of an elderly female back on January 29th.

According to the police report, Sgt. Josh Ward spoke with the victim, Linda Thompson by phone and she stated that the her 2002 Buick Regal had been taken at around 8:00 p.m. on the night of January 28th. She told officers that no one had permission to drive the vehicle and that she did not know who could have taken it.

Sgt. Ward also spoke to Mrs. Thompson’s son who said that the same people had went through his vehicle where they found the keys to his mother’s car, they also took a pellet rifle.
