SYLVANIA – Jacob StClair rang for 36 points, dished out 10 assists and grabbed five rebounds to lead the Sand Rock Wildcats to a 95-79 basketball win at Sylvania on Tuesday night.

Kaden Justice tossed in 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Wildcats (14-13). Jacob Cornejo finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

Sawyer Hughes led Sylvania with 23 points.

Sylvania led 25-24 at the end of the first quarter, but the Wildcats surged ahead at halftime 49-36. Sand Rock held a 69-55 advantage at the end of the third quarter.

In girls action, Sand Rock improved to 24-4 with a 65-44 victory over the Lady Rams.

Katelyn StClair led the Lady Wildcats with 21 points and nine boards. Caley Garrett added 10 points. Lanie Henderson had eight points, and Haley Grace Lisenbee finished with seven points, eight boards and four assists.

Sand Rock travels to Cedar Bluff Thursday.
