Ms. Willie Evelyne Kelley, age 83 of Centre, passed away Saturday, January 29th at Cherokee County Health & Rehab.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 2nd 2022 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Patty Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm till 1:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, burial will follow the service in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Carol (Billy) Matthews, DeAnn (Rodney) Wood; sons, Craig (Lisa) Kelley, Tim (Susan) Kelley, Kent (Penny) Kelly; sisters, Sylvia Gossett, Pat Studdard; granddaughter, Savanna (Austin) Andrews; and 4 great-grandchildren, Braxton Kelley, Jack Kelley, D.J. Wood, Freya Wood.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Junior Kelley.
Pallbearers will include Jared Kelley, Matthew Kelley, Zavier Wood, Luke Kelley, Allen Kelley, Eli Kelley. She carried them; now they are carrying her.
Honorary Pallbearers will include the employees of station 5 at CCHRC.
Ms. Kelley was a native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Timothy Haney and Thelma Cottle; and she was of the Methodist faith.
