UPDATED:

Firefighters with the Centre, Cedar Bluff, Leesburg and Spring Creek departments all converged on a house in flames on College Street in Centre Tuesday morning.

That call went out around 3:30 with the departments quickly arriving on the scene.

Also responding were Floyd EMS, the Centre PD and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office; we also understand that the coroner has been called to the scene.
