Connie Ross Parris, Jr, age 84 of Homewood, AL passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at home with his family. A graveside service will be held 9 AM, January 29 at Cedar Bluff cemetery with Reverend Reid Crotty officiating.

He is survived by his sons, Steven Ross Parris (Cynthia) and Dewey Lee Parris; grandchildren, Melanie, Helen, Jonathan, and Kate Parris. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Parker Parris; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Connie Ross Parris, Sr.; sister, Linda Parris Singleton.

Pallbearers will be David Jones, Robert Singleton, Chris Stansell, Lee Thompson, Kelly Colvin, Jesse Barrentine, and Ricky Whitten.

Ross was a nurseryman and cattle farmer. He was a fan of Star Trek and collecting memorabilia. He loves spending time with his family and devoted the past years caring for his wife through her illness. Throughout his entire life, he enjoyed studying scripture and growing in his relationship with God through Jesus.
