SPRING GARDEN – Jacob Welsh led four Spring Garden Panthers in double figures with 18 points in an 83-46 boys basketball win over Weaver on Friday night.

Welsh also added seven rebounds, four blocks, two steals and an assist for the Panthers (16-6). Andrew Floyd contributed 14 points, including four 3-pointers, with six rebounds, three assists and two steals. John Welsh collected 13 points, four boards and a steal. Cooper Austin collected 11 points, including three treys, with five steals, four assists, three rebounds and three blocks.

Chaz and Chapel Pope both scored eight points. Chaz Pope also posted six rebounds, four steals and two assists. Chapel Pope also had six assists, four rebounds and two steals. Cam Welsh came away with six points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal. Andrew Bates finished with five points, two rebounds, two steals and a block.

Spring Garden led 14-13 at the break, but went on a 23-7 run in the second to take a 37-20 edge at halftime.
