Mrs. Kathryn Davis Simpson, age 87, of Centre, passed away Wednesday, January 26th at her residence.
The funeral service will be 11am, Saturday, February 5th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no public visitation.
Survivors include sons; David Eddy (Kathy) Simpson of Spring, TX, Jimmy (Lydia) Simpson of Marietta, GA, and Thomas (Melissa) Simpson of Centre, AL, daughters; Karen (Vince) Johnson of Knoxville, TN and Eliza Beth (Mike) Tidwell of Marbury AL; along with 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Simpson was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County, daughter of the late Ed W. Davis and Exie L. Landers Davis. She enjoyed being Senior Caregiver at the Cherokee County Nutrition Center, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, David “Buddy” Simpson, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cherokee County Nutrition Center.
