ALDOT is monitoring the situation, but current forecasts indicate the possibility of slushy accumulations on roadways across much of north Alabama during the day Sunday and potential for any remaining moisture on pavements to refreeze Sunday night and Monday morning.

Motorists are advised to avoid travel if snowy or icy conditions develop. ALDOT will respond to clear and treat roads following any snowfall with accumulation.
