Face Coverings Will Be Required At Centre Middle School Through Jan. 21

As of today, (January 13th, 2022) Centre Middle School has reached the 10% threshold of COVID-related quarantines. Therefore, Centre Middle School faculty, staff, and students will be required to wear face covers beginning Friday, January 14, 2022. This requirement will remain in effect through Friday, January 21, 2022. Numbers will be reevaluated at that time to determine if an extension of this requirement is necessary.

The majority of those quarantined are due to return to school Tuesday. This action is part of the COVID protocol for Cherokee County Schools and is being taken out of an abundance of caution.

This requirement only pertains to Centre Middle School at this time. Face covers are encouraged on all other campuses.

Cherokee County Schools remain committed to providing a safe in-person learning environment for our students and staff members.
