Mr. Troy Lee Ransum age 88 of Ashville Al, formerly of Centre passed away at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham, Monday January 03, 2022. A funeral service will be held Saturday January 8, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Perry Funeral Home Centre AL, with Pastor Nicholas Gandy officiating, the family will receive friends from 11:00 am till the time of service, burial will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jason Ransum, Brent Ransum, Neil Ransum, Dale Metcalfe, Donald Ray Walker, William “Woody” Howell.

 He is survived by his wife: Barbara Ransum, daughters: Deborah R. Fant (Tommy), Cinthia Ransum White, grandchildren: Christina Fletcher, Jaime Duggan, Christopher “Cody” Alford, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents: Herman & Mary Jo Ransum, 3 brothers & 1 sister.

The family request no flowers and that donations be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital or the American Alzheimer’s Association.
