Mr. Kenneth Clyde “K.C” Lindsey

Mr. Kenneth Clyde “K.C” Lindsey, age 89, of Centre, Alabama passed away on January 2, 2022 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.

Survivors include his son, Mitch (Wanda) Lindsey; wife, Gail Clemons Beck Lindsey; sister, Sue (Thomas “Tiny”) Lindsey Owens; sister-in-law, Helen Ringer Lindsey of Oklahoma; stepson, Mike Beck and step grandson Cole Beck.  Survivors also include nieces and nephews:  Ellen Sisson of Florida, Beck (David) Foster,  Dawn Lindsey, Scott (Rhonda) Lindsey, all of Oklahoma, and Ann Shed of Wyoming; Lori Owens of Centre and Michael (Susan) Owens of Southside.  Seven great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces and a nephew survive.  A special cousin, Shirley Cheatham of Rome, Georgia also survives.      

Mr. Lindsey graduated from Cedar Bluff High School in 1950 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1950-1952; co-owned Lindsey Construction and Lindsey Hereford Farms, practiced real estate, and retired from Georgia Craft in Eufaula, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Martha Lynn Arnold Lindsey, his brothers Roy and Fayne Lindsey, parents Clyde Lindsey and Adele Dempsey Lindsey, his sister-in-law Edith Arnold West, and his stepson Kevin Beck. 

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to your favorite charity.
