Dole Issues “RECALL” of Products Sold in 13 States, Including Alabama

Dole is recalling some of its bagged salad due to concerns over listeria contamination

That voluntary recall includes Dole-branded and private-label salads processed at its Bessemer City, North Carolina and Yuma, Arizona plants – and being sold in 13 states – including Alabama.  The Products included in the recall have a product code beginning with the letter “N” or “Y” in the upper-right hand corner of the package, and will have a “Best if Used By” date between November 30th 2021 and January 8th, 2022.

People who have any of the products are urged not to use them and throw them away immediately.

The symptoms of listeria include – high fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea and is especially dangerous for young children, the elderly OR any  people with weakened immune systems.  Consumers with questions about the voluntary recalls should call the Dole Consumer Response Center at 1-800-356-3111.
