There was an 18-wheeler rollover occurring on the Chesnut Bypass in Centre prior to 7:00am Monday.
The truck, a 2021 Volvo, reportedly veered onto the soft shoulder of the road causing the big rig to roll over onto its side, coming to rest in an embankment just before St. Clair Auto Sales at Sand Valley Road. The driver, a resident of Dallas, Georgia, and an employee of Kennesaw Transportation, Inc., luckily escaped injury in the accident.
Centre Police and Fire Units responded to the scene, along with EMA personnel.
