There was a two-vehicle accident on the Chesnut Bypass in Centre near Tate’s Chapel Road at around 7:00am Wednesday, involving an 18 wheeler and a pickup truck. Early reports indicate that all those involved were only shaken up, with no one being seriously hurt.
There was no road blockage as the 18-wheeler remained parked in the turn lane and the pickup pulled into a nearby parking lot.
Centre Police and Fire units responded to the scene, and we’ll have more information as it becomes available.
