State Troopers Respond to Three Wrecks in Under Two Hours Early Wednesday Morning

Alabama State Troopers responded to three separate wrecks – one each in Cherokee, DeKalb and Etowah counties – early Wednesday morning during heavy rainfall.

The first mishap was reported at 6:18 in DeKalb County, on I-59 at mile marker 199 – around six miles south of Collinsville; that accident reportedly involved two vehicles; it’s unclear if anyone was hurt injured that incident.

A single-vehicle accident occurred at around 7:40am, on Gilley Road at Centre Road –  in Etowah County.  It appears one person was hurt in that wreck.

And at 8:05am, a single vehicle accident with one injury took place on County Road 7, just inside Cherokee County at the Etowah County line.

We’ll have more information on the wrecks as Alabama Law Enforcement reports are completed.
