There was a single-vehicle wreck on County Road 71 during the early morning hours of Friday. At around 4:15 a vehicle left the roadway and struck a mailbox, with early reports indicating no one was hurt in the mishap.
However, it appears a subject was transported by law enforcement from the scene to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
