A Jackson County resident was taken to jail this week, after authorities discovered an illegal moonshine still, over two gallons of untaxed moonshine, meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside his home.
Jason Townson, age 40 was placed under arrest after several members of the Jackson County and DeKalb County narcotics units searched the residence on County Road 51 in Dutton.
Townson faces multiple charges – including possession of a still, drug trafficking, and other charges. His bond has been set at $30,800.
