Mr. Glenn Allen, age 81 of Centre, passed away Sunday, December 19th at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 26th, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. James Rainey and Bro. Tim Smith officiating, the family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home, burial will follow at Welcome Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Austin Starr, Jared Starr, Caleb Starr, Chase Starr, Jeff Bryant, Steve Brewster, and Larry Wilson.

He is survived by his sister, Sherry Abram (Leonard); adopted daughter, Ann Mayhall (Chuck); special nieces, Tammy Brewster (Steve), Cindy Bryant (Jeff); several nieces and nephews; also the Johnson family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dolly Allen; brothers, Bill Sadler, Robert Sadler, Herman Sadler; and sister, Lois Sewell; special friend, Gayle Johnson.

Mr. Allen was a native of Miami, FL, is the son of the late Arthur Lee Allen and Eula Lee Guthrie, and was a member of the Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
