Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Three on Drug Charges

Three individuals were arrested Monday on various drug charges by members of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

James Hale, age 34 of Collinsville, was booked into jail at around 12:30pm on charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, in addition Buying/Selling Stolen Property; while Christine Clagett, age 35 of Monk’s Corner, was booked just after 1:00pm charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Buying/Selling Stolen Property.

Brandon Barber, age 34 of Hartselle, was jailed just prior to 10:00pm – charged with the Possession of Dangerous Drugs (two counts), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Kidnapping/Interference with Custody.

All three currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center, with bond set at $8,000 for Hale; $3,000 for Clagett; and $5,500 for Barber.
