HOKES BLUFF – Tyla Tatum tallied 17 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, in leading the Collinsville Lady Panthers to a 39-29 Class 3A, Area 12 basketball win at Hokes Bluff on Thursday.

Kayla Beene added 14 points for the Lady Panthers.

Kayla Traylor topped Hokes Bluff with nine points. Kileigh Blackwell came away with eight points.

In boys action, Collinsville’s Alex Garcia led all scorers with 18 points, but Hokes Bluff earned a 54-39 victory.

Dawson Cothran rang for nine points for the Panthers. Luke Henderson and Donovan Smith both scored five points apiece.

Kyle Patterson led the Eagles with 14 points. Jordan Presley posted 12 points. Avron Nix netted 11, and Landon Davenport finished with nine points.

Both Collinsville teams play in the Cherokee Invitational on Saturday. The Lady Panthers battle Alexandria at 9 a.m., while the Panther boys take on Faith Christian at 10:30 a.m.
