Summerville Man Facing DUI Charge Following High Speed Chase

The Georgia State Patrol arrested a Chattooga County, Georgia man, following a short chase on Sunday evening.

According to reports – Summerville resident Jeremy Max Treadaway, left a residence after causing a domestic disturbance and was reported as being highly intoxicated.  Chattooga 9-1-1 put out a “be on the lookout” for Treadaway.  After Chattooga County Deputies responded to the scene of the disturbance, Treadaway reportedly drove by the residence in a Chevrolet pickup truck at a high rate of speed; deputies gave chase and stopped him on Smallen Road in Lyerly.

Treadaway failed several sobriety tests and he was taken into custody by the Georgia State Patrol.  Afterwards, he was booked in at the Chattooga County Jail on charges of DUI.
