A former Jackson County teacher is being held on $201,000 bond, after his arrest on multiple child sexual abuse charges.
According to jail records, Scotty Berlin Baugh, age 52 of Gurley, was arrested Monday afternoon. Baugh faces two counts of sodomy and two counts of child fondling, along with school employee sexual contact with a student and second degree sexual abuse. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen says Baugh was a Jackson County school employee. One incident allegedly occurred several years ago.
Baugh is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail and the investigation into the matter is on-going.
