Several Auto Accidents Reported In Cherokee County On Saturday

Emergency crews responded to several auto accidents in Cherokee County on Saturday.

The first was a single vehicle rollover occurring on County Road 70 in Sand Rock, it appears that no one was injured in that accident with the Sand Rock Fire Department, Rescue Squad personnel and the Sheriff’s Office responding to the scene.

Another accident was reported just before 11:00 that morning on County Road 133 where a vehicle ran off of the roadway and struck a tree. Firefighters reported that there was no one in or around the vehicle.

Broomtown Firefighters and Alabama State Troopers responded.

Mt. Weisner Firefighters were called to the scene of an accident just after 11:00 that night after a passerby reported seeing a vehicle off in a field. Firefighters arrived and were no able to find anyone around the vehicle. State Troopers also responded to that scene.

Gaylesville Firefighters and Alabama State Troopers were called to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 9 near County Road 189 on Saturday night after a vehicle apparently struck an animal. There were no injuries reported.
