One woman is dead following a home explosion south of Cedartown on Saturday morning.
The blast occurred in a home off Winkle Road, just east of U.S. 27. Polk County Coroner Norman Smith confirmed the victim was a woman and that her body will be sent to the GBI crime lab to determine the cause of death.
WSB is reporting the victim lived in the now-destroyed home and was in her 60s.
