When it comes to singer/songwriter Josiah Siska – the key word is “exuberance,” and he brought happiness, heart, and soul to the WEIS Radio studios Thursday afternoon, as he joined our own Karli Morgan for an upbeat visit filled with stories, live performances and fun facts, including the story behind his audition for American IdoL
Siska made it to “Hollywood Week” on Idol before being edged out, and from there, it was “pay your dues” time, as he mentions here:

Siska excels at songwriting – crafting lyrics that not only celebrate life but also honor the memories that truly matter in someone’s story; if Ronnie Van Zant had written full blown country it would’ve probably sounded a lot like “(Growing Up) Three Chords at a Time” – which Siska performed live during his visit to the studios.

Black River Entertainment artist/songwriter Josiah Siska hails from Gwinnet County, Georgia. Introduced to the Black River family via music mentor Mark Miller (Sawyer Brown/music producer/Black River), Siska signed his record and publishing deals in October 2019. “I’ve been working with Josiah for a couple of years now and his work ethic is second to none and that is why we’re here,” says Miller.
This work ethic and passion for music was obvious to the Black River team from the moment they met him, and with more music coming the team knows great things are in the works for Josiah.
This support resonates with Josiah and it really enforces this partnership. “I’m really thankful for everybody here believing in me – I’m beside myself. It’s a dream come true for me. A blessing, straight from God – it’s tied us all together,” shares Siska.
