Two-Vehicle Accident Involving Albertville Police Officer and Teen Driver Occurring Monday; No Injuries

Shortly before 9:30 Monday Night (September 29th), Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division, investigated a two-vehicle accident – involving an officer with the Albertville Police Department.

The officer was attempting to conduct a traffic stop when he hit a 2020 Toyota Camry being driven by a teenager.  Neither that officer, nor the driver of the Toyota was injured.  In addition, there was a teen passenger in the Toyota who was not injured.  The crash occurred on U.S. 431 – at the intersection of Martling Road, within the Albertville City Limits.

No additional information is available at this time as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
