Bizarre Prank Goes Awry for Man at Ex-Girlfriend’s Home in Summerville

Earlier in the week Deputies with the Chattooga County, Georgia Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence on Highway 27 in Summerville after a woman called saying she came home and found “something resembling a person” hanging from her ceiling fan, before she entered the home.

When deputies arrived at the location and went inside the home – they found a figure made to look like a body hanging from the ceiling fan in the woman’s living room.

When deputies searched the home they also found the woman’s ex-boyfriend lying in bed.  According to the official report, the man, when woken up by a deputy, appeared to be – needless to say – somewhat surprised, and very nervous.  That may have been due to the fact that law enforcement found a bag of suspected marijuana in the man’s possession – with a subsequent search turning up additional suspected marijuana, in addition to crystal meth.

At that point thirty-seven-year-old Dustin Daniel of Lawrenceville, Georgia was taken into custody and booked into the Chattooga County Jail on a variety of drug charges.
