Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Jerry Downey, age 22 of Piedmont / Alvin Pierce, age 64 of Cedar Bluff and Brooklyn Williamson, age 26 of Leesburg – Failure to Appear/Comply/Pay;

Frederick Diamond, age 40 of Centre – Auto Theft;

and

Brandie Hooper, age 34 of Ft Payne – Attempting to Elude and Using False ID to Avoid Arrest/Hinder prosecution

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

Currently there are 78 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
