During a recent First Responder’s Luncheon – Sheriff Nick Welden announced a new scholarship for the children of DeKalb County’s First Responders. That’s in conjunction with Northeast Alabama Community College.
State Representatives Ginny Shaver and Nathaniel Ledbetter have donated ,000 to that scholarship fund.
Information on how to apply will be available through the college at a later date.
