During a recent First Responder’s Luncheon – Sheriff Nick Welden announced a new scholarship for the children of DeKalb County’s First Responders. That’s in conjunction with Northeast Alabama Community College.
State Representatives Ginny Shaver and Nathaniel Ledbetter have donated $5,000 to that scholarship fund.
Information on how to apply will be available through the college at a later date.
