Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Rhonda Jackson Retires After More Than a Decade of Service

(L-R Inv. Gilliland, Chief Inv. Monroy, Inv. Jackson (ret.), Chief Dep. Summerford, Inv. Green, Dep. D.A. Summerford, & Inv. Daniel)

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, Chief Deputy Josh Summerford and Deputy District Attorney Summer McWhorter Summerford – all recently gathered in order to present retired Investigator Rhonda Jackson with both her service weapon – and retiree badge – in accordance with state law.

Chief Deputy Summerford stated Investigator Jackson is already sorely missed by the law enforcement community; she recently retired a second time, with eleven years of service to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.  She retired prior to that, with over 25 years of service with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
