UPDATED
An 18-wheeler accident took place around 1:30am Tuesday on I-59 in DeKalb County – according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency that single vehicle wreck was at the 239 mile marker, and no one was hurt in the mishap.
There was some road blockage associated with the wreck. The 2019 Freightliner was removed and the roadway officially re-opened, just before 7:30 that morning.
It remains unclear exactly what led to the accident taking place.
