There were several motor vehicle accidents reported across Cherokee County over the weekend.

Centre Police and Firefighters along with Floyd EMS units responded to a two vehicle crash on the bypass just after 2:00 Friday afternoon. There was also a two vehicle accident with injuries reported just after 3:30 on Highway 9 south with the Ellisville Fire Department and Floyd EMS units responding to that location.

There was a two vehicle accident occurring at a location on County Road 144 in Cedar Bluff just before 6:00 Friday. The Cedar Bluff Fire Department and Floyd EMS responded to that scene.

On Saturday afternoon, emergency crews responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 9 north. According to reports that vehicle ran off of the roadway and flipped with one of the occupants fleeing the scene.

Gaylesville Firefighters and Floyd EMS were among those that responded to that scene.
